The 4th Annual Harvard African Development Conference will take place March 8th-9th at the Sheraton Commander and Harvard University.
This year’s conference is a collaborative effort between student groups at from 7 schools in the University. The conference will be an interdisciplinary gathering of policy-makers, scholars, and professionals to exchange ideas on Africa’s development.
The conference aims to inspire innovative approaches to development challenges through the interaction of participants from different fields.
March 8th, 2PM: Registration begins
March 8th, 3:15PM: Harvard Kennedy School admissions info session
March 8th, 4PM: Opening Keynote Address: His Excellency President Macky Sall of the Republic of Senegal (John F. Kennedy Forum Address)
March 8th, 5:30PM: Welcome reception - directly following Opening Keynote Address
March 9th, 8AM: Registration continues
March 9th: 8:45AM-5PM: Panels and morning/lunch addresses
March 9th, 9PM-1AM: Conference afterparty
Note: A ticket 'w/ luncheon' will give you access to the luncheon at the Sheraton Commander with panelists and a chance to hear the luncheon address. Lunch will be provided for at Pound Hall for those participants not attending the luncheon.
Those purchasing student tickets will be asked to show a valid student ID at registration.
